The fifth annual progress Report on Safet yRecommendations submitted to the Secretary of Sate by the Air Accidents Investigation branch was published on 17 December 2009.

It contains all the Safety Recommendations made by the AAIB in 2008 including the responses to those recommendations received up to, and including, 30 June 2009 and those Recommendaations categorised as open from previous yars where significant additional information has been received.
