Cessna 172S Skyhawk, G-UFCE

Summary:

Immediately after landing in gusty conditions, the aircraft became airborne again. The second touchdown resulted in a heavy landing, causing the nose landing gear tyre to burst and the propeller to strike the ground. The pilot and passengers were uninjured. On examination damage was also observed to the lower forward fuselage and the engine firewall.
