Summary:

After completing six successful landings on the beach at Pilling Sands, the aircraft crashed on the seventh landing. The pilot broke both wrists and received facial injuries. Subsequently, he was unable to recall anything about the events leading up to the accident, and no witness information was available. The wind at the time of the accident was reported to light and variable, and it was considered possible that this, coupled with a lack of visual cues from the wide expanse of exposed sand, may have contributed to the accident.
