Rans S6-ES, G-CBAZ

Summary:

Just after takeoff from a grass airfield, the left wing dropped. In attempting to correct this, the right wing dropped, followed again by the left wing and the aircraft struck the ground. All indications were that the aircraft had been flying slowly and, in the absence of any pre-accident reported defects, possible contributing factors to the low speed were the pilot’s low level of currency, the use of flaps 30º for takeoff and the soft surface of the field.
