Summary:
Whilst ground taxiing the crew, when unable to turn left, became aware that the nose wheel locking pin had become inadvertently engaged. In an attempt to disengage the pin collective pitch was increased with the intention of reducing the pressure acting on it. The aircraft became unstable rolling, then pitching, excessively before it could be brought under control.
