Piper PA-23-160, G-APFV, 21 October 2009

##

Summary:

The aircraft landed with its landing gear up after a flight from Stavangar under IFR. Weather conditions at the time were marginally suitable for VFR and a visual approach to the airstrip, which had no facilities for instrument approaches. The pilot commented that the habitual nature of the action of extending the landing gear may have contributed to his failure to ensure that it down.
