Aerotechnik EV-97A Eurostar, G-CBRR

Summary:

Towards the end of an otherwise uneventful landing at a farm strip in calm conditions the left main tyre suffered a puncture. At approximately 20 kt the pilot felt the aircraft swing to the left, accompanied by a high level of vibration. He was unable to counter the swing and the aircraft entered a field of standing crops to the side of the strip, coming to an abrupt stop. Neither the pilot nor his passenger suffered injury.
