The pilot was making his third flight on this aircraft type. On his third approach to the 480 metre grass strip at Halwell in calm conditions, he landed fast and long. Realizing that he was going to overrun, he steered the aircraft to the left, but was unable to prevent it from striking a hedge, damaging the landing gear and engine cowling. The pilot, who was wearing a full harness, was uninjured. H
